Topic: Enterprise Architecture – The Three Pillars of Success

Dr. You has identified 3 Pillars of Success in data management for any enterprise or large complex organizations:

1. Vision, Mission and Strategy – Business Architecture
2. Data Lifecycle Management, Data Flow and Governance
3. Data Security and Data Privacy

This presentation and Knowledge Sharing will focus on these three pillars of enterprise data management best practices. It starts with a personal data management story, and then moves on to the importance of data for business intelligence and business success; the building blocks of industry 4.0, and risk & damage of data breaches.

In addition, Dr. You will cover the values of enterprise and data architecture, data ethics, data structure, big data, data analytics, and the future of data science.

Dr. You ia currently working as Cybersecurity tower lead for Wipro Cyber Security and Risk Services Group. Prior to this position, Dr. You was program manager for the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) for State of Illinois, leading the ServiceNow deployments such as GRC, Security Operations, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, Procurement Mgmt., and Vendor Risk Mgmt.

Dr. You is TOGAF and PMI-ACP certified and has more than 15 years working experience as an IT enterprise architect manager and consulting architect (including GRC, Business, Data, Application, Infrastructure and Security domains) for fortune 500 companies such as VMware, Intel and Motorola.

Dr. You is married with two kids, living in Naperville, IL. In his spare time, he runs Marathons, enjoys cooking and reading.

Enterprise Architect/Program Manager with business values focused; organization, culture, process and technology alignment; provide guardrails for risks, compliance, policies, standards and controls; track leading industry trends, leverage disruptive technologies, foster lean startup within established enterprise.

• Full-stack enterprise architect including Vision, Strategy, and GRC, Business, Data, Application, Infrastructure, and Security architectures using TOGAF, Zachman, FEA2.0, IT4IT, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), Flow for Enterprise Transformation (FLEX) and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• Program Manager with Agile (PMI-ACP certified) and SDLC framework, manage contracts, vendor and partner relationships; become change agent for internal workshops, marketing, selling and enabling solutions; communicate with business and technical staff at all levels of the organization.
